This policy explains how Brytech Software Pty Ltd (ACN 702 685 961) (“Brytech”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information in connection with this website. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Our apps have their own policies
This policy covers this website only. Each of our products — such as Hydro Ops — has its own privacy policy on its own website, which explains how that app handles your information. If you use one of our apps, please read that app’s policy.
What we collect
This website is deliberately simple:
- There are no forms, accounts or sign-ups on this website.
- We don’t use cookies, advertising or tracking tools.
- If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write.
- Like almost every website, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information when the site is loaded — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
We use information you send us only to read and reply to your enquiry, and to keep a record of our correspondence. Technical information is used only to operate and protect the website. We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for marketing without your consent.
Third-party services
This website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, a service run by Google. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address. Google’s servers may be located outside Australia. Google’s own privacy policy explains how it handles that information.

Storage and security
Emails you send us are stored in our email system. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we delete it when we no longer need it.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing us. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.
